Iota Phi Lambda - Southwestern Region Home

I extend to you greetings and welcome to the official website for the
Southwestern Region of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. It is with
commitment to serve and humility that I greet you as the
Southwestern Regional Director for Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi,
and Texas. There is a rich history of service and sisterhood woven
into the fiber of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. from the contributions
of the Southwestern Region. We are excited about the new paradigm
of commitment, change, and challenges that will be undertaken as
preparation is made for the new administration with a fabulous
executive team in place for the Southwestern Region. The crux of
leadership and strength of our Region sits on the shoulders of each
chapter president. The chapters are the true sum of the total for the
greatness of this Region.

The world citizen and leader Nelson Mandela – “Madiba” says that
“You can tell a lot about a person by the people and organizations that
they belong to”. I was comforted knowing that in 1929 Lola
Mercedes Parker and six other women invested in themselves and
other women with a vision of promoting business and education
success through this sorority which has lasted for 80 plus years is
more relevant than anytime in history. Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc.
the organization which I have belonged to and served for almost 25
years puts me in good company of women with relevance.

Today, I stand a little taller and walk with a great stride because of
Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. and the Sorors of the Southwestern
Region!
