Alpha Rho's American Education Week

Alpha Rho Chapter celebrated American Education Week on November 8, 2009
with a luncheon at Zea Rotisserue & Grill on St Charles Ave. Eight educators
were honored. Tenettie Griffin, Desi D. Delarge, Richelle Voelker, Roxanne
Watts, Trudi Greene, Mattie Profit, and Marvin Knight. The Honorees were
presented with Proclamations from the City of New Orleans for contribution to
educating the children of New Orleans, as they work to make public schools great
for children. The guest speaker was Dr. Micheal E. Booker, principal of Thurgood
Marshall Early College High School.

EO would like to introduce Two Dynamic Pearls of Devotion. Sorors Jade Hunter
and Vanessa James were initiated November 21, 2009. During their Intake
Process, they participated in the DFW Walk for Lungevity Foundation and
attended Worship Service at Westside Baptist Church. To find out more about
